DP Awareness Training Course  NEW!
KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd (KBAT) is pleased to introduce a new course: The DP Awareness Training course has been jointly developed by KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd and Swire Marine Training Centre for the diving industry. This course is targeted at personnel who want a basic understanding of dynamic positioning as well as the advantages and limitations that DP control of vessels offers.
The training will combine both theoretical lessons and practical exercises. During the course, each participant will be provided with an individual operator station with generic DP software. The course documentation is in English and the course will be held in English. No previous or special knowledge is required.

Diving Supervisors	Project Managers	Personnel working with or in support of DP Diving / offshore operations

The 2-day course consists of 15 modules as follows :-

Module 9	:-	The DP system’s positioning capability
Module 10	:-	DP consequence analysis
Module 11	:-	Introduction to position reference systems
Module 12	:-	The DP system’s utilisation of position measurements
Module 13	:-	Sensor inputs
Module 14	:-	DP Incident Course Studies
Module 15	:-	DP Diving Interface

Upon successful completion of the 2-day course, you will be given a certificate of attendance.
