Basic First Aid Course


Our training programs adhere to the most up to date medical and educational guidelines published by nationally recognised authorities. They also meet the OSHA training requirement for workplace responders. “Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the known leading causes of death in occupational settings. In today’s context, AED’s are found onboard planes, cruise ships, hotels, factories and many work places. AED is a “must have” according to a standard HSE regulations. As we are using the First Aid International training program to teach, we would like you to know that the primary source authorities for the programs are

  • International Liaison Committee of Resuscitation (ILCOR)
  • UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines for Basic Life Support
  • The course syllabus is recognized by HSE UK

About this Course

This course is designed for clients who wish to have a greater understanding of First Aid. It includes illnesses and injuries and through the scenarios can be contextualised to your requirements. The course will meet the recommendations of the Health and Safety Executive for training emergency aid to the appointed person.

Your instructor is a fully certified First Aid International instructor who is current with the procedures and knowledge required to ensure you have the best possible learning experience. Each Instructor is registered with First Aid International and renews their status annually to ensure that only current and competent instructors deliver your training and assessment.

Any individual with an interest in first aid or has been assigned a WSH-related role in the organisation.


Each section of the book will guide you step by step through each of the essential skills required to be a competent first aider. Through the process of seeing hearing and doing you will learn how to provide first aid in an emergency both safely and effectively. As you complete each skill you will develop the skills, knowledge, techniques and confidence to respond in an emergency.


12 Hours (Refresher is 6 hours)


Candidates will be assessed through a written examination and practical skills assessment. Upon successful completion, candidates will be awarded a certificate issued by First Aid International (FAI) in the UK and certificate expiry is 3 years from date of completion.
