In today’s context, AED’s are found onboard planes, cruise ships, hotels, factories and many work places. AED is a “must have” according to a standard HSE regulations.
This course is designed to train individuals and company personnel who require training in basic life support and automated external defibrillation. It will provide the necessary skills to manage a patient that is unconscious and not breathing normally until the arrival of the emergency services.
This course meets the guidelines of the UK and European Resuscitation Councils for Basic Life Support and the use of an AED. This course is mapped to the learning outcomes of the Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and the Automated External Defibrillation.

Each section of the book will guide you step by step through each of the essential skills required to be a competent first aider. Through the process of seeing, hearing and doing, you will develop the skills, knowledge, techniques and confidence to respond in an emergency both safely and effectively.
6 Hours (Refresher is 6 hours)
Candidates will be assessed through practical skills assessment with oral questions. Upon successful completion, candidates will be awarded a certificate issued by First Aid International (FAI) in the UK and valid for 3 years from date of completion.
