Working with PaleBlue who has designed the simulator and diver virtual reality system, KBAT is pleased to be able to bring this exciting new training and competency development tool to our clients. The simulator training for Saturation Diving Supervisors has been designed to give the IMCA Trainee BELL Diving Supervisors hands-on experience of operating a realistic dive panel while conducting actual diving operation procedures and dives. The simulator offers an extensive range of emergency scenarios that would not be possible to practice on an actual dive job, but may actually happen, therefore the simulator prepares you for the unexpected from a DP Run Off, Loss of Gas, Loss of Comms, contaminated bell and much more.
Comprising of a touchpanel-based digital simulator including actual video of working divers, the system allows for full operational requirements of a control panel, the ‘Dive Control Simulator’ provides the ideal system to log your trainee panel hours, prepare for project operations and emergency situations, or for contractors to validate competence for ‘return to work’ personal who have not been supervising for a period of time.
At the end of the training period on the dive control simulator, delegates will have developed the following competencies:
When a trainee bell diving supervisor completes his IMCA Trainee BELL Supervisor course, it is daunting to sit on the panel offshore for the first time and this simulator training will definitely prepare the trainee. Through the simulator training, he will be more confident and aware when starting to work as a trainee supervisor, plus it provides him with the valuable panel hours in preparation for taking IMCA exam.
Dives supervised will be logged in the trainees’ supervisor log book. For trainee BELL diving supervisors, dives will be appropriately logged, signed and stamped, which will count as double hours towards required panel hours.

Virtual Learning Feedback: I have done university lectures using Zoom / Teams in the past, and I must say you are at a different (higher) level when it comes to using the technology and it's possibilities to further the learning experience.
Virtual Learning Feedback: Doing this course via Zoom was very convenient... saved two days on a plane, and plus cost of staying in Singapore - forget old school go with the new school!
Virtual Learning Feedback: As usual, Alan did an exceptional job getting the info across.
Virtual Learning feedback: The course was brilliant. Alan the magician made the difficult stuff easy to understand. The virtual learning was a new experience for me. I enjoyed it.
Virtual Learning feedback: Supportive trainer, good study material and excellent orientation.
Virtual Learning feedback: I have been really impressed with everything so far, so thanks very much indeed. I was a little wary of doing this course in an online environment, but the set-up is excellent and I'm struggling to see how it could be any better had I been in the classroom in person. Alan is top notch, so hopefully I can do him / justice in tomorrow's exam...!
Excellent training!
I enjoyed gaining more knowledge.
Good interaction and explanation of course contents by instructor Alan.
All the doubts you have, ask Alan. He won't disappoint you.
Best thing about the course was the instructor's knowledge and experience.
