To be a professional and certified IRATA rope access technician, with the ability to work in any difficult to access or work at height situation.
Upon successful completion of the course, the experienced rope access technician will be able to perform more complex tasks under the supervision of a Level 3 rope access safety supervisor. He/she will be:
5-Day course including assessment. The instructor-to-trainee ratio is 1:6.
Minimum of 1000hrs logged working hours with varied experience being a level 1 over a minimum period of 12 months.
The course is assessed by an independent IRATA approved assessor. It includes a short written/objective multiple-choice paper and practical scenarios.
Delegates who attended and successfully completed both the practical & written assessments will be awarded the an IRATA certificate - Level 2.
