Tag: Announcements

We are pleased to announce that Mark Anderson was our Best Student 2013 for NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operational Safety with the overall highest aggregate score.

Here is a short review from Mark

Mark Anderson"I was hunting around trying to decide who was giving the best bang for buck and I wanted to stretch myself mentally by doing some personal development which was relevant to my work. KBAT seemed to be offering a professional course which was cheaper than some of the competitors out there.

The overall training experience was workmanlike with an emphasis on self directed study and self application. I always felt that I could ask a question. The resources were entirely adequate for the task of a short and intense course of study. The tutor they had decided to utilize was a font of unbridled knowledge.

Moreover, the tutor team did their best to allay any pre exam worries and definitely kept us focused on absorbing as much of the course syllabus as we could in order to pass the exam.

Presently I am auditing the training standards for the upstream Oil and Gas Industry throughout the Middle east, Russia, India and Africa. And this qualification has given me a delicious insight into another side of the Oil and Gas Industry and I feel that it demonstrates to future employers that you are focused, pro active and capable of absorbing and making sense of fresh technical.

Be dogged and persevere for those aiming for a career in health and safety. Challenge yourself first and foremost. You never stop learning and to have any kind of advantage in what is a difficult economic climate for most, you have to actively demonstrate a willingness to life long self development.

Lastly, I`m just away to commit to doing my I.S.O Lead Auditor ticket but really want to at some stage soon pursue the NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety."
